I recently had a pleasant stay at Grand Hotel Dei Cesari. Even though it was fall/winter and the restaurant wasn't fully open, they went out of their way to make me a delicious dinner. the hotel room was spacious and luxurious, with a colorful and inviting atmosphere. the staff provided speedy service, and the concierge's handling of a guest's heart attack was impressive. the hotel also had great amenities, including a fantastic pool and a beautiful beach for a refreshing Mediterranean dip. the experience was relaxing and enjoyable. Cons: Nothing bad to say 😊.

In general hotel is not bad. But I should say that we were here in the fist part of May (it is not a high season) but price was not like in low season. The main thing wich disturbed me a lot was a quality of food. We visited a lot of Italian cities and small towns but in this particular restoran in hotel food was the worst one. Just pasta and spaghetti was normal, but not brilliant.
If you want to see beautiful sandy beach, sea and have a chance to go to see the sights of Rome (this hotel situated about 65 km from the Rome. We spend not more than 1 hour to reach the centre of Rome by car) you should go here, but I don't advice you to eat in the hotel. In the centre of Anzio the are a lot of good restaurants.

Spectacular spot on the beach. The Sea was calm one day (we swam out to the sandbar as a family...very memorable), rough the next day (I body-surfed). We were in a quad room with a nice arrangement of beds and a beautiful balcony. I would suggest the annex over the main hotel any day of the week...balcony, view, access to beach. The service staff was friendly and helpful. The food was better than we expected. We especially loved the bar between the pool and the sea...great for food, drinks and a place to sit altogether.
The use of the gym would have been as expensive as the room for us, which is just ridiculous. We're used to the gym being included (as it usually is in America). It's hard to imagine that anyone even uses it. It's far enough from the charming city piazza that a convenient shuttle service makes a ton of sense. Open air taxi was fun but expensive. And people would come from all over the world if there was easy airport access (it's only 50 minutes from the airport early in the morning). We overpaid for the taxi because it was "in the middle of the night." And someone at the desk made it feel like we'd asked for the moon to have an early ride for an early flight. While the location by the sea is enviable and the facilities are VERY nice, the distances to other obvious necessities made accessibility the only downer. Next time we would rent a car, which we didn't want to have to do. We just wanted simplicity.

I chose to stay at Grand Hotel Dei Cesari because of its convenient location to the Porto di Anzio. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome and the offered comfort. The elegant restaurant served a wide choice of national and international dishes, including typical Lazio dishes and fish specialties. The extensive and refined wine list was also impressive. At the end of the day, enjoying a drink at the bar/lounge or the poolside bar was a perfect way to unwind.
Negatives. Area: While the distance from the train station to the hotel was less than 1km, we had to walk with our bags as taxis were nowhere to be seen.

Fantastic location with pool overlooking the sea. Friendly personel. Rooms are spacy, clean luxerious. Relaxed atmosphere with large lobby bar and plenty of parking space. Ideal if you have business near Rome but wish to relax instead of staying in the city. Only 1 hour by car from Fiumicino.
Although Wifi was offered free of charge, it was only available in the lobby.

This place is a hidden gem! The area is so peaceful and quiet, no noisy distractions at all. The beach is just a short walk away and it's absolutely stunning. The water is crystal clear and the sunsets are breathtaking. The hotel staff, especially the receptionists, were incredibly friendly and helpful. Our room was always clean and tidy, the maid even sorted it out for us in no time. The breakfast was delicious with lots of options. The restaurant staff went above and beyond to accommodate us, even when we arrived late. The pool area was fantastic, the staff ensured it was always clean and orderly. The location is convenient, close to the train station. our stay here was absolutely fantastic!

It seems Grand Hotel Dei Ceasari is a hotel where Italians go to vacation. It did not have a typical tourist feel to it which was great. The entire staff was outstanding, attentive and eager to help. The only negative comment I have is about the mattress. Much too stiff for my back. Outside of that outstanding place to stay.

We stayed here for a couple of nights and had a fantastic time. The location is perfect, right on the seafront in a quiet residential neighborhood. The views from the hotel are absolutely breathtaking, with the sea stretching out in front of us. We loved being able to walk straight onto the beach, which was pristine and not overcrowded at all. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially the reception staff who spoke English fluently and made us feel welcome. The rooms were spacious and clean, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We were also impressed with the amenities, such as the air conditioning, tea and coffee facilities, and mini-bar in our room. this place provided enhanced comfort and quality services.
We would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

We had a terrible stay. The Hotel is like a scene out of Goodfells's gone bad. The photos of the hotel are completely deceiving. It was far from town and dirty. We were hoping to use the sauna and spa facilities and were told we couldn't as it was Sunday. We also had to change rooms at 2:30 am due to bedbugs. I would never dream of staying there or recommending it to anyone.

Clean, nice sized rooms. I did not use the swimming pool or any other facilities as I arrived late and only stayed for 1 night. Good hotel but not really 4*, more like 3*. There is certainly nothing wrong with the hotel that I could see to stop anyone having a pleasant stay.
They state that you are not allowed to have any food or drink in your room that has not been purchased from the hotel. Breakfast was ok, range and quality was average.

Great beach and perfect for business travel the hotel's beach was just what I needed after a long day of work. Plus, the location was perfect for my business trip - close enough to the city center and airport but still secluded and peaceful. the breakfast was a decent start to the day and the staff was attentive and accommodating.
Room was a bit outdated the room was a bit outdated and not as luxurious as I had hoped, but it served its purpose for a night's stay. the pool area could have been cleaner.

The room was small, the bed was really not comfortable. It was very nosy outside. The aircondition was not functioning. The breakfast was very poor. We ate only once in the hotel restaurant and were very disapointed.
